European roulette

European roulette: This type of roulette is one of most popular games at "Va-Bank" live casino. First played in France in the 17th century, it inherited it's best features from the classic variation: it has an easy to understand algorythm and the name itself (dirived from French "roulette" meaning "a small wheel").

Nowadays European roulette does not differ much from its predecessor, still played at all European Houses. It still features 2 playing fields, 36 numbers, one Zero, a wheel and a ball. Numbers are located in a specific order interchanging red and black, big and small, even and odd numbers within 3 sections. The object of the game: the player places their bet trying to predict the number and the sector that will come up. If the ball drops on the selected slot, you win!

Gaming table

Roulette can be played by one or several players (when the game takes place on a public table). The roulette wheel is located on the left area of the table along with the chips. Other players sit to the right (but also in the left area of the table). The launch game button is on the right. If the public table is selected the wheel is launched automatically but you still must wait, to click "Launch" button, until all bets have been placed.

The timer is on top of the game field; to the right of the timer is the board displaying the dealer's text. On the top right one can see the table with previous results. A chat area for the game discussion is on bottom of the screen. Finally in the centre of the screen there is the gaming field where you place your chips for betting.

Game rules

Once all bets have been placed, you can spin the wheel (click "spin" button) or wait till the game launches automatically. After the wheel stops, the ball drops on the slot which gets marked. The total winning amount for all bets is calculated and displayed on top of the screen along with the number came up. The winning amount is credited to your account.

In European roulette you are allowed an unlimited number of bets for one game. However there are minimum and maximum wagers for certain game tables and depending on the size of your account.

Betting in European roulette

This game variation has ten different wager types. You can bet on one ("Straight Up")or several numbers (up to 12).

Betting on many numbers increases the chances of winning at every spin, but this way the payout is considerably reduced. The standard payout table is used at our casino for European roulette.

Betting types:

• A one-number bet ("Straight Up"). The chip is placed on the selected number.

• A two-number bet ("Split") - placing a chip on the line separating two different numbers.

• A three-number bet ("Street") - betting on a horizontal row of 3 numbers. The chip is placed on the line right to the selected row.

• A four-number bet - Betting on 4 numbers by placing a chip at the center of the 4 number block ("Corner") that you wish to bet on.

• A six-number bet - Betting on a horizontal row of 6 numbers ("Sixline" is actually a pair of "Street" bets). The chip is placed on the right edge of the gaming field between 2 slots.

• "Dozen" - In this bet, you are betting on the ball landing on a number between 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36. The chips are placed on separate slot on the left of the number table.

• "Column"-betting on a column of 12 numbers, each are located in a separate slot for the ball to land on.
